White vinegar

Carpet stains can also be removed by adding one tablespoon each of white vinegar and liquid detergent soap with 2 cups of warm water them and dab it gently using a sponge or white cloth.

Natural salt

Just pour a combination of hot water down and salt down the kitchen sink on a regular basis to disinfect and prevent grease build up.
